Turn day-to-day store activity into useful Google Analytics 4 data and see what drives revenue without constantly switching between PrestaShop and Google Analytics. The module combines detailed e-commerce event tracking, flexible order-value rules and an optional Analytics dashboard built into your back office.
Understand the complete shopping journey
Follow customers from product discovery to purchase with GA4 events for product and list views, product selection, cart additions and removals, cart views, checkout, shipping and payment choices, purchases and refunds. Product payloads include meaningful context such as product name, brand, category, variant, quantity, price, discount, coupon and currency where available.
This gives you a clearer view of where shoppers engage, where they leave and which products contribute to sales. The module also tracks useful engagement actions such as login, registration, sharing and quick view interactions.
Make reported revenue fit your business rules
Avoid misleading conversion values caused by a one-size-fits-all total. Decide whether purchase values should include taxes, shipping and gift wrapping, whether discounts should be deducted, and whether wholesale cost should be subtracted for a more margin-oriented value. Product prices can also be sent with or without tax.
Map your own PrestaShop order statuses to full or partial refunds. When a mapped status is reached, the module prepares the appropriate GA4 refund event; partial refunds can include the refunded products and quantities.
See the numbers that matter inside PrestaShop
Advanced connection mode links your Google account with read-only Analytics access and brings reporting into the back office. Review sessions, users, revenue, purchases, add-to-carts, checkout starts, average order value and conversion rate, with trends and comparisons to the preceding period.
Explore performance by acquisition channel and source, country and city, device, landing page, product, visitor type and event. A realtime view shows active users and recent activity across devices, countries, pages and events, so you can check launches or campaigns without opening a separate Analytics tab.
Choose preset date ranges or a custom period of up to 730 days. Cached report data reduces unnecessary repeat calls to Google while manual refresh remains available when you need the latest historical figures.
Give every team member a focused dashboard
Show only the widgets that matter, then drag and resize them to create a practical workspace. Layout and selected period are saved per employee and shop, so different back-office users can keep their own view without affecting colleagues.
Event drill-downs help you move beyond totals with daily trends and breakdowns by page, device, source, e-commerce item and registered GA4 event parameters when the data is available.
Start quickly, then extend tracking when needed
Simple mode needs only a GA4 Measurement ID and is suited to merchants who want storefront tracking without Google Cloud setup. Advanced mode guides you through adding your own Google OAuth credentials, connecting an account, and selecting the Analytics account, property and web data stream used by the store.
For store-specific interactions, create click or scroll events using a CSS selector, with optional label and numeric value, without editing the module's JavaScript. A storefront debug panel displays captured event payloads during testing, helping you verify setup before relying on the data.
