Installation

How to install and set up AI Content Studio on your PrestaShop store.

Requirements

Before installing AI Content Studio, make sure your server meets these requirements:

  • PrestaShop: Version 1.7.x or 8.x or 9.x
  • PHP: Version 7.1 or higher
  • AI Provider API Key: You'll need an API key from at least one supported provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Z.AI, or DeepSeek)

Installation Steps

1. Download the Module

Purchase and download AI Content Studio from the PrestaShop Addons marketplace. You'll receive a .zip file.

2. Upload to PrestaShop

  1. Go to your PrestaShop back office
  2. Navigate to Modules > Module Manager
  3. Click Upload a module
  4. Select the downloaded .zip file
  5. Wait for the upload to complete

3. Install the Module

After uploading, find "AI Content Studio" in your module list and click Install.

4. Configure Your AI Provider

After installation, you'll be redirected to the module configuration:

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Choose your Default AI Provider
  3. Enter the API key for your chosen provider(s)
  4. Select a default model
  5. Click Save

Note: You can configure multiple providers and switch between them at any time. See the API Key Setup guide for details.

Verifying Installation

Once installed, you should see:

  • The AI Content Studio dashboard in the module configuration
  • An AI Content Studio entry in the back-office menu (under HiPresta)
  • An AI generator button on product, category, and CMS edit pages
  • All navigation tabs accessible: Dashboard, Bulk, History, Mutations, Settings, Prompt & SEO
