General Settings
Configure AI Content Studio's core settings including API key, model selection, and display options.
General Settings Overview
The General Settings tab controls the core functionality of AI Content Studio.
OpenAI API Key
Your OpenAI API key for authentication. See API Key Setup for details.
AI Model
Choose which GPT model to use for content generation:

| GPT-5 | Premium quality, complex content | High |

| GPT-4o-mini | Balance of quality and cost | Medium |
Recommendation: Start with GPT-5-mini for most use cases. It provides excellent quality at a fraction of the cost.
Display Settings
Control where the inline AI generator button appears:
- Display on Product Pages: Show the AI button on product edit pages
- Display on Category Pages: Show the AI button on category edit pages
- Display on CMS Pages: Show the AI button on CMS page edit pages
Clean Database on Uninstall
When enabled, all AI Content Studio data (history, version tracking, bulk jobs) will be deleted when uninstalling the module.
Warning: Only enable this if you're sure you won't need the module again. All generation history will be permanently lost.
