Track, compare, and restore content versions with full mutation history.

Overview

Version History tracks every content change made through AI Content Studio. You can view, compare, and restore any previous version.

Accessing Version History

From the Dashboard

  1. Go to AI Content Studio module configuration
  2. Click Mutations in the navigation
  3. Browse all content changes

Understanding Mutations

A "mutation" is recorded whenever content is saved through AI Content Studio.

Mutation Information

Each mutation records:

  • Entity Type: Product, Category, or CMS
  • Entity ID: The specific item
  • Field: Which content field changed
  • Language: Content language
  • Old Content: Previous value
  • New Content: New value
  • Date: When the change was made

Comparing Versions

Click on any mutation to see:

  1. Side-by-side comparison: Old vs. New content
  2. Highlighted changes: See what's different
  3. Full content: Complete text for both versions

Restoring Versions

To restore a previous version:

  1. Find the mutation in history
  2. Click View to open details
  3. Click Restore Old to revert
  4. Confirm the restoration
